A gourmand and world traveler, Kim Sunee recounts her dogged search for identity in her memoir, Trail of Crumbs: Hunger, Love, and the Search for Home. Punctuated with recipes of Provence and New Orleans, her story describes her adoptive family, a troubled marriage, and her quest to find her parents in South Korea, as well as how she has found solace and security in the kitchen.

Beard on Books is an ongoing monthly literary series featuring readings and discussions with some of the food world’s most celebrated authors. Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino waters, illy caffè, and Green & Black’s® Organic Chocolate will be served. Sweets provided by Three Tarts. Guests are also welcome to bring a brown-bag lunch. Book signing will follow readings and discussions, and books will be available for purchase from Mobile Libris.
