Pastry Chef Meg Galus, and Wine Director Chad Ellegood Tru/ Chicago

When Rick Tramonto and Gale Gand opened Tru in 1999, critics and diners were blown away by Tramonto’s startlingly original French-inflected cuisine and Gand’s brilliant pastry creations. Ten years later, the four-star Chicago restaurant continues to deliver, as Phil Vettel of the Chicago Tribune put it, “eating at its finest.”
