25th Anniversary Spectacular

What's better than celebrating JBF's anniversary at the Beard House? Doing so with Aquavit, New York's outstanding, Scandinavian-inspired restaurant, which also turns 25 this year. Come applaud the merry run our two establishments have had with a feast of traditional Nordic fare with modern touches.

Beard on Books: John Howie

Wednesday, November 28, 7:00 P.M.

In his book, Passion & Palate: Recipes for a Generous Table, chef/restaurateur John Howie shares colorful stories from his impressive career and over 240 delightful recipes from his empire of award-winning restaurants.

Seattle Surf and Turf

Wednesday, November 28, 7:00 P.M.

Master of both Pacific Northwest-inspired seafood and modern steakhouse fare, Seattle-area superstar chef John Howie has won acclaim throughout the country. Howie, who recently published Passion & Palate: Recipes for a Generous Table, will be coming to the Beard House to speak at Beard on Books and then prepare a phenomenal surf-and-turf dinner menu.

McNally's Masterpiece

Thursday, November 29, 7:00 P.M.

When it opened 15 years ago, Keith McNally's Balthazar quickly became one of New York City's most popular eateries. Today it is one of the city's most iconic. With Lespinasse and Colicchio & Sons alum Shane McBride now heading the kitchen, we can't wait to see what the quintessential brasserie has in store for us!

Four Seasons Reunion

Friday, November 30, 7:00 P.M.

A friendship forged in the kitchens of Boston's Four Seasons Hotel is the basis for this collaborative dinner featuring chefs Aaron Brooks and Joshua Smith. These culinary cohorts will showcase their current menus with a feast topped off with creations by Four Seasons pastry chef Salvatore Martone.
