Tyrone Thompson

Tyrone Thompson is a FoodCorps service member with The STAR School in Navajo Nation, where he helps meet the demands from his students for fresh, healthy foods. As the CEO of North Leupp Family Farms, he has a passion for growing food, strengthening food security for the Diné people and creating opportunities for local youth and community members. He has helped build and maintain gardens at local schools and is now working to develop the first farm to school program on the Navajo Nation. Tyrone loves to garden and have fun with his two kids, Ruben and Laila.
