2014 Agenda
The 2014 James Beard Foundation Food Conference
Health & Food: Is Better Food the Prescription for a Healthier America?
October 27 & 28
Convene Conference Center
730 3rd Ave.
New York City
Conference Objectives
This year's James Beard Food Conference takes a hard look at health and food, and what is and is not working to address the health impacts of the modern American diet. Over the course of two stimulating days you can expect presentations and conversations that give you a better sense of actual health trends, three unique looks at what is driving these trends, and what solutions-oriented food system leaders and the medical community can do to make a difference. Not only will you get the chance to meet and interact with distinguished audience members, speakers, and panelists, you will co-create with them both an expansive definition of health and a call to action for better health that we can all subscribe to. Plan on being engaged, challenged, and encouraged by this carefully curated event designed for you.
