Mitchell Altholz Highlawn Pavilion and the Manor/ West Orange, NJ

The former chef and owner of Jocelyne’s, the beloved eatery he named after his Bordeaux-born wife, Mitchell Altholz now runs the kitchens at the venerable Highlawn Pavilion and the Manor restaurants, where he serves refined yet commanding French-inflected cuisine that is a perfect match for Bordeaux’s heady wines.
