"My goal when creating this drink was to showcase scotch in a way that reminded people of how delicate the spirit can be," says mixologist Tommy Ho.
Ingredients
- 1 ounce Tomatin 12-Year-Old Single Malt Highland Scotch, or any single malt Scotch
- 3/4 ounce Lustau Los Arcos Dry Amontillado Sherry
- 3/4 ounce St. George Pear Brandy
- 1/2 bar spoon simple syrup
- 12 drops almond extract
- Pear slices for garnish
Method
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail coupe. Garnish with the fresh pear slices.
