Avid home cooks and Food Network viewers the world over trust Ina Garten, host of The Barefoot Contessa, for elegant, approachable recipes and invaluable tips on entertaining. And with good reason: the multiple Emmy Award and Beard Award winner ran a beloved specialty food store for nearly two decades, has penned ten cookbooks, and has one of the most popular shows on food television.
In her latest tome, Cooking for Jeffrey, nominated for a 2017 James Beard Book Award, the industry icon shares the cherished recipes she makes time and again when she's at home with her husband or entertaining close friends. A perfect example? Her rustic rigatoni with sausage and fennel, laced with tomatoes, fennel, white wine, and a touch of cream.
"This is one of the heartiest and most satisfying dinners!" Ina explains. "I assemble it a day ahead, throw it in the oven to bake, and simply make a big green salad and buy some good crispy ciabatta." How easy is that? Get the recipe and make it for your own loved ones tonight.
