Beard on Books
Cooking over open flame may be the oldest technique known to man, but the authoritative Mastering the Grill: The Owner's Manual for Outdoor Cooking is a valuable resource for even the most seasoned grill master. Prolific cookbook authors and food writers Andrew Schloss and David Joachim take grilling seriously, and it shows in this encyclopedic title: topics like equipment, fire, and ingredients are discussed in detail, while instructions on marinades and rubs will take your grilling from a hard science to a finger-licking art form. Schloss and Joachim also include hundreds of recipes to guarantee a successful summer shindig, as well as a permanent spot for Mastering the Grill on your bookshelf.
