Todd Villani has made his name as one of the Garden State’s biggest locavores, so it’s no surprise that he’s linking up with fellow advocate and friend Marc Swierkowski for an end-of-summer supper at the Beard House. This farm-to-table feast will be packed with peak produce, rustic flavors, and European flair, with dishes like Beet Spring Rolls with Lamb Bacon, Crème di Blue Cheese, Walnuts, and Cucumbers; Pork Rillettes Doughnuts with Peach–Fennel Mostarda; and Slow-Braised Beef Short Rib with Shaved Mushrooms, Kabocha Squash, Burnt Onion–Marrow Butter, and Peppercorn-Crusted Tayberries.
