Now that it’s officially fall, we’re ready jump head first into comfort food fare. We can't think of a better dish to do that with than this inspired remix from James Beard Award winner Ashley Christensen. "This recipe combines two of the most comforting soups in existence—tomato soup and French onion soup—into one powerhouse of a bowl," says Christensen, who is heading up the Seattle stop on October 13 and 14 during our fifth annual Taste America tour. With a base of slowly caramelized onions, white wine, and diced tomatoes, this soup is crowned with thick slices of buttered baguette and melty Jarlsberg cheese, making it the perfect potage to welcome sweater weather. Cozy up tonight.
