There’s nothing like a frozen treat to make you feel like a kid. Luckily, you don’t have to chase down the ice cream truck to satisfy your craving: just make these five-ingredient pomegranate–yogurt ice pops for an upscale version of your favorite childhood indulgence.

This dessert from JBF Award winner Salma Hage’s the Middle Eastern Vegetarian Cookbook pays homage to her native Lebanon, where its main ingredients are used in both sweet and savory dishes. Vibrant pomegranate juice is swirled in creamy lebneh to create a striking ombré effect, and natural ingredients mean this confection is nothing to feel guilty about. Serve these playful pops at your next party, or keep them in your freezer for when you need a refreshing pick-me-up.
