Turn up the holiday magic for your little ones with a fun-filled afternoon of confectionary creativity. Food writer and master builder Joanne Lamb Hayes will lead budding architects and candy lovers (along with their adult chaperones) in crafting the edible abodes of their dreams in this seasonal Beard House favorite.
The workshop class will begin with a dough-making demo. Then children will receive their own dough to roll and cut into template. JBF team will bake off the dough. Children will then assemble and decorate their houses. Houses will be completed and wrapped, ready for transport by the end of the workshop. Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino waters, Lavazza Coffee, and tea from Tea Forté will be served.
Price includes one house. Limit two children per house. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets to events held at the James Beard House cover the cost of food and a unique dining experience. Dinners are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. All alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
