Join the James Beard Greens for an intimate workshop on Japanese green tea at Ippodo Tea New York. The Greens will get to taste the four main types of Japanese green tea and learn how to prepare matcha, sencha, and gyokuro.
Ippodo has upheld the culture of Japanese tea since they began handpicking tea for the Imperial family of Japan in 1717, and this year they celebrate their 300th anniversary.
