Join JBF Greens for progressive Mexican cuisine at Corima in the heart of Chinatown.
Open since January, Corima is the first restaurant from executive chef/owner Fidel Caballero and co-owner Sofia Ostos. Roughly translated to mean “circle of sharing,” Corima began as a pop-up in 2021 with stints in New York City, Paris, Mexico City, and chef Fidel’s hometown of El Paso, Texas.
Drawing inspiration from the Chihuahuan Desert, the menu represents not only a return to tradition, but also a glance to the future—offering a vision in which the cuisine of Northern Mexico is prominently represented within New York City’s culinary landscape.
For the occasion, chef Fidel will curate an innovative menu that draws inspiration from Fidel’s upbringing in the northern region of Mexico and local ingredients from the Northeast. Wine pairings will be generously provided by José Pastor Selections.
