Start the New Year with JBF Greens at Margot in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene neighborhood.
Open since May 2023, Margot is the first restaurant from partners Halley Chambers and Kip Green. A self-described neighborhood restaurant, Margot is committed to caring for its community. Not only does Margot offer their employees 401k plans and health insurance, but they also provide community programming in their upstairs annex, including educational workshops centered around food, wine, and sustainability.
For the occasion, chef de cuisine Frank Scarlota-Gurten will create a hyper-seasonal menu, highlighting local produce and responsibly sourced seafood.
*70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host chef to support their business while 30% will go towards the Foundation’s national programming that is rooted in advocacy, racial equity, sustainability, and women’s leadership for the culinary industry.
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event(s) be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, The James Beard Foundation will offer options including ticket exchanges, use of tickets for future events, and option to donate tickets.
