Join JBF Greens for an innovative mezze menu at Zaytinya at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Nomad.
Grounded in James Beard Award winner José Andrés’ deep knowledge of Mediterranean cooking and years of research and travel, Zaytinya’s menu reflects the rich regional diversity of Turkish, Greek, and Lebanese cuisines. Nearly 20 years after opening in D.C., the celebrated restaurant opened its doors in NYC in July 2022.
For the occasion, head chef Jose Ayala, concept chef and partner Michael Costa, and sous chef (and inaugural Beard House Fellow) Nicole Merino will prepare a special mezze-style feast, featuring small shared plates inspired by Zaytinya’s greatest hits.
*70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host chef to support their business while 30% will go towards the Foundation’s national programming that is rooted in advocacy, racial equity, sustainability, and women’s leadership for the culinary industry.
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event(s) be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, The James Beard Foundation will offer options including ticket exchanges, use of tickets for future events, and option to donate tickets.
