Join JBF Greens for our second-ever Seattle event with a celebration of Central Washington farming at Eight Row in Green Lake.
Raised on a cherry orchard in Central Washington, chef, orchardist, and two-time James Beard Award semifinalist David Nichols honed his culinary skills in New York City before bringing his artistry to Seattle. Drawing inspiration from his family’s orchards (for which the restaurant is named), chef David’s dishes not only embody the essence of the American farm, but also underscore his commitment to the survival and legacy of small American orchards and the diverse communities they sustain.
For the occasion, chef David will present a multi-course feast highlighting Washington State fare with Mexican and Central American flavors, and, in doing so, pay heartfelt homage to the people integral to the cultivation and harvest of the orchards of Central Washington. Wine pairings will be provided by Syncline Winery and nonalcoholic options by NON and Seedlip.
*70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host chef to support their business while 30% will go towards the Foundation’s national programming that is rooted in advocacy, racial equity, sustainability, and women’s leadership for the culinary industry.
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event(s) be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, The James Beard Foundation will offer options including ticket exchanges, use of tickets for future events, and option to donate tickets.
By making a ticket purchase, you will receive emails from the James Beard Foundation about events and updates about the programs you help make possible. You can unsubscribe at any time.
