Join JBF Greens at Khmai Cambodian Fine Dining on Chicago’s North Side for Khmer cuisine and family history. 

Khmai Cambodian Fine Dining is Chef Mona Sang’s “American Dream.” The kitchen became a place for Sang and her mother, a survivor of the Cambodian genocide, to share stories and heal. With the opening of her restaurant this past August, Sang spotlights not only the history of Cambodia, but the potential of its vast culinary traditions.

For this special Greens evening, Sang will curate a complete Cambodian meal, presenting fine dining on her own terms. Wine pairings will be provided by the mother-daughter wine team at Bricoleur Vineyards.

 

**70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host chef to support their business while 30% will go towards the Foundation’s national programming that is rooted in advocacy, racial equity, sustainability, and women’s leadership for the culinary industry.

All reservations must be made in advance. Should the event(s) be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, The James Beard Foundation will offer options including ticket exchanges, use of tickets for future events, and option to donate tickets.
