“Taste of” Bengali Cooking with Afsari, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn

Join JBF Greens as we embark on an immersive culinary adventure with the League of Kitchens. Immigrants from around the world (who are all exceptional home cooks!) will welcome you into their homes for a series of six interactive and inspiring cooking classes.

A two-and-a-half hour “Taste of” workshop for six Greens members will include:

•    A homemade snack prepared by your host
•    A hands-on demonstration of three to four traditional recipes from the instructor’s cuisine
•    A celebratory meal to enjoy the fruits of your labor
•    A booklet of the instructor’s family recipes and an in-depth shopping guide along with a list of the instructor’s favorite shops
