Roti, an unleavened flatbread native to India, is often overshadowed in America by its seemingly more popular cousin, naan. Made simply from whole wheat flour, water, a touch of oil, and salt, roti is arguably more versatile, complementing nearly any Indian dish.

Try your hand at your own batch in this one-hour, hands-on workshop, skillfully led by Yoshi Yamada, co-owner/chef of Superkhana International located in Chicago’s Logan Square.

Registered attendees are encouraged to break bread together by ordering take-out to go along with their homemade roti from a local Indian restaurant of their choice.

Registration is required for this event, and is open to JBF Greens Members and the General Public. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have a quarantine companion who will be tuning in on the same screen as you, you only have to register once per screen. Zoom link to follow for registered guests.
