Join JBF Greens for a salute to Bánh Tráng, or Vietnamese rice paper –one of the staples of Vietnamese cooking.
At Di An Di, a beloved American-Vietnamese eatery in the heart of the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, co-owner/chef Dennis Ngo celebrates the beauty and versatility of rice paper, while marrying the flavors of traditional Vietnamese cooking with the dynamic, modern spirit of New York City.
Chef Dennis will guide Greens in a one-hour hands-on Gỏi cuốn workshop, schooling us on the art of wrapping a fresh Vietnamese summer roll.
All guests will receive the Summer Roll recipe prep instructions in advance of the event for the purposes of following along. Don't feel like rolling up your sleeves, but still want to join in and watch? The deadline to pre-order a Summer Roll Kit has passed, but the delicious Di An Di food and beverage menu is available for take-out and delivery on their website.
Registration is required for this event, and is open to JBF Greens Members and the General Public. Registration is available on a first- come, first-served basis. If you have a quarantine companion who will be tuning in on the same screen as you, you only have to register once per screen. Zoom link to follow for registered guests.
