Taste America, presented by Capital One, is a nationwide initiative to bring together chefs and diners to support the local restaurants rebuilding a more sustainable and equitable industry.
The dinner at Dhamaka will be an intimate gathering with safety regulations strictly enforced as mandated by the local governance. Chef Chintan Pandya of Dhamaka and Chefs Genie Kwon and Tim Flores of Kasama in Chicago will prepare a multi-course menu that reflects their signature styles and highlights the uniqueness of their restaurants and the New York City/Chicago communities. The dinner will also include beverage pairings for each course as well as a swag bag to take home.

COVID-19 SAFETY (Proof of Full Vaccination Required to Attend)
Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests, chefs, and restaurant teams to experience our events is a top priority for the James Beard Foundation. In accordance with New York City to combat the rise of COVID-19 cases in the area, all guests dining (indoors and outdoors) will be required to show proof of full vaccination (along with photo identification) to attend the event. You may show the following as proof of vaccination: a photo or hard copy of vaccination card, NYC COVID Safe app, New York State Excelsior Pass app, CLEAR digital vaccine card, CLEAR Health Pass, or other official vaccine record.
We encourage all guests to wear masks when they are not actively eating and/or drinking and when speaking with staff. Please note, this mask policy is subject to change. Ticket buyers will be alerted of the final policy in an email at least two (2) days prior to the event date. Thank you for your continued understanding and compliance with these measures for your safety and the safety of those around you.
Reservation Policy: All reservations are nonrefundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, option to donate tickets, or a full refund.
