COVID-19 SAFETY (Proof of Vaccination/Negative COVID-19 Test Required to Attend)
Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests, chefs, and restaurant teams to experience our events is a top priority for the James Beard Foundation. In accordance with Oma’s Hideaway and Gado Gado’s current policies to combat the rise of COVID-19 cases in the area, all guests will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test within 24 hours to attend the event. You may show the following as proof of vaccination: physical copy of vaccination card, photo copy of vaccination card, state-issued digital record proving vaccination status, or a negative COVID-19 test from the past 24 hours.
As of August 13, 2021, the Oregon Health Authority requires that everyone five years of age and older wear masks in indoor public settings, whether vaccinated or not. Beginning August 27, 2021, masks must be worn in most public outdoor settings where physical distancing is not possible (regardless of vaccination status).
We ask that all guests wear masks when not seated at their table (both indoors and outdoors).
Please note, this policy is subject to change. Ticket buyers attending the Portland Taste America event will be alerted of the final policy in an email at least two (2) business days prior to the event date. Thank you for your continued understanding and compliance with these measures for your safety and the safety of those around you.
Reservation Policy: All reservations are nonrefundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, option to donate tickets, or a full refund.
