Join us for a delicious demo with JBF Award winner Ana Sortun, cookbook author, spice authority, and chef/co-owner of Boston’s Oleana, Sarma, and Sofra Bakery. Her creative take on traditional Middle Eastern fare evokes enchanting flavors of Greece, Morocco, and Turkey, and has earned her national recognition and devoted fans.

 

Chef Sortun will walk us through the steps for making two iconic Middle Eastern dishes. We’ll also learn about some of her favorite spices and ingredients, and how incorporating these seasonings into your cooking can transport your tastebuds across the globe.
