SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD: The JBF Arizona Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) starts at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on 3/2/15 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on 7/13/15.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States or the District of Columbia, age 21 and older at time of entry. Employees of the James Beard Foundation (“Sponsor”), Ventura Associates International LLC, the Enchantment Resort, the Royal Palms Resort and Spa, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and all other companies involved with the development or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively referred to as “Sweepstakes Entities”) and their immediate family members, and/or those living in the same household of each whether related or not are not eligible to enter. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void in Alaska, Hawaii, and where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER: Follow all instructions to complete and return your Sweepstakes ticket(s) in person at a James Beard Foundation event or by mail. If you are returning your completed Sweepstakes tickets via mail (“mail-in entry”), enclosed the Sweepstakes ticket(s) in an envelope, affix proper postage and mail them to: The James Beard Foundation, Attn: The JBF Arizona Sweepstakes, 167 W. 12th Street, NY, NY 10011. Your mail-in entry must be postmarked by 7/13/15 and received by 7/20/15. Sweepstakes tickets are available at select James Beard Foundation events and available to be downloaded at www.jamesbeard.org/sweepstakes. Limit: one fully separated strip of 3 tickets (i.e., 3 entries) per envelope/mail-in entry. Sweepstakes ticket(s) will not be valid for entry into the Sweepstakes random drawing unless each Sweepstakes ticket is fully detached from the other. Each ticket must be
completed in its entirety. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, damaged, illegible or postage due entries. All submissions become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Limit: Twenty (20) entries per person.

PRIZE & ITS APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): A four (4) night stay for winner and one (1) guest to Arizona (ARV: $5,560.00). Actual ARV may vary based on winner’s location, fares at time of departure and rates at time of stay. If actual value of prize is less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded. Trip includes: round-trip for winner and guest, accommodations for two (2) nights’ stay in a junior suite at the Enchantment Resort, daily breakfast for two (2) days and one (1) dinner for two at the chef’s table at Enchantment Resort’s Che-Ah-Chi restaurant. Winner and guest will also receive double occupancy accommodations for two (2) nights stay at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa. Accommodations in both cities include room and room tax only. All meals (other than as noted), ground transportation (to/from airport and between cities) taxes, gratuities, incidentals, upgrades, service charges, insurance or other expenses not specified herein are not included and are the winner’s sole responsibility. Prize is non-transferable, non refundable and not redeemed for cash or other services not described. No substitutions for prize permitted, except Sponsor may substitute prize or portion thereof with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion due to prize unavailability for any reason. Air travel will be awarded in the form of Certificates that may be redeemed for round-trip travel. Certificate seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or in all markets. Certificates are non-transferable, are not redeemable for cash and are void if sold or bartered. The sale or barter of tickets obtained through redemption of Certificates is also prohibited. Any tickets obtained through such sale or barter are void and will not be honored for travel. Tickets may be cancelled or reissued without penalty for a period of 24 hours after reservation is made. After this cancellation/reissue privilege expires, date, time and routing changes are permitted (subject to the availability booking class) however a $200 fee applies (USD/CAD). Based on availability, passengers holding confirmed reservations and tickets may confirm earlier/later same day flight within 3 hours from scheduled departure time between same origin/destination for a non-refundable fee of $50. Certificates do not include the September 11th Security Fee of up to $2.50 which will be imposed on each flight segment in the passenger’s ticketed itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Baggage fees of $25 for first checked bag, $35 for second checked bag. Allowances subject to size/weight limits. Taxes and fees are subject to change. Any taxes, fees, or charges paid at the time of ticket issuance will be refunded if ticket is not used. However, once redeemed, Certificates are void and will have no further value. Stopovers/Upgrades/Waitlisting/Open Returns are not permitted for tickets booked with Certificates. Lost, stolen or otherwise destroyed Certificates will not be replaced. Schedules are subject to change without notice. Additional restrictions may apply. It is the responsibility of the passenger to be in possession of all necessary documentation (e.g., valid passport, visa where applicable) at the time and place of departure. The airline reserves the right to deny boarding to any passengers without proper documentation.

ALL ELEMENTS OF GRAND PRIZE ARE SUBJECT TO SPACE AVAILABILITY AT TIME OF BOOKING AND ARE AT THE SPONSOR’S AND PRIZE DONORS SOLE DISCRETION. BLACKOUT DATES AND CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS MAY APPLY.

Trip must be completed by December 30, 2016 or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Winner must provide at least 60 days advanced notice prior to intended date of departure. Grand Prize Winner and his/her guest must travel together on the same itinerary including same departure and return dates. All prize details are at the Sponsor’s and/or prize donors’ sole discretion. The Sponsor, Ventura Associates International LLC, and all other companies involved in this Sweepstakes are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of a flight cancellation or flight delay and schedules are subject to change without notice. Grand Prize Winner and guest must comply with any security procedure or measures imposed by prize donors. If for any reason whatsoever, winner is unable to travel after all arrangements have been made and paid, the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to winner. If weather affects the ability for winner and his/her guest to redeem any portion of prize during the scheduled date and time, then the Sponsor shall have no further obligations to winner and/or guest other than to supply the remaining elements of the prize package minus the unused portion of prize. If the Grand Prize is forfeited, and there is sufficient time to notify an alternate winner, it will be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing from among all non-winning eligible entries. Winner and guest are solely responsible for obtaining any necessary documentation such as valid photo IDs prior to travel. Guest must be 21 years of age and must complete and return a Liability/Publicity Release prior to travel. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received estimated at 1:1,100. RANDOM DRAWING: Potential winner (“winner”) will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Random drawing will be conducted on or about 8/18/15 by Ventura Associates International LLC an independent judging organization (“judges”) whose decisions are final. Winner will be notified by mail and will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and a Publicity Release (“Affidavit/Release”) within ten (10) days of date specified on notification, or an alternate winner will be selected at random. If winner cannot be contacted, or if Affidavit/Release is returned as undeliverable or if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and it will be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing, providing there is sufficient time to notify an alternate winner. If for any reason whatsoever, winner is unable to travel after all arrangements have been made and paid, the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to such winner. No substitutions are permitted except if prize or prize component is unavailable, in which case a prize (or prize component) of equal or greater value will be awarded. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable except to a surviving spouse. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, local and sales and income taxes associated with winning prize. Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use each winner’s name, prize won, hometown and likeness for online posting and promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Ventura Associates International LLC, which shall be final in all respects. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any sweepstakes it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Participating entrants release the Sponsor, Prize Donors, Ventura Associates International LLC, their collective affiliated companies, and all other businesses involved in this Sweepstakes, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in Sweepstakes, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity. Sponsor is not responsible if Sweepstakes cannot take place or if any prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by use of prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the prize. The Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information from Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet.
