Ellen Teller
Ellen Teller is the Chief Government Affairs Officer at the Food Research & Action Center (FRAC). She directs the development and implementation of FRAC’s legislative agenda in Congress, and advocates for improved access and participation in the federal domestic food and nutrition programs. Teller joined FRAC in 1986 as a Staff Attorney and previously worked at the American Bar Association’s Section on Individual Rights and Responsibilities, the Center for Science in the Public Interest, and the Consumer Federation of America.
Teller holds a B.A. in political science and English literature from the State University of New York at Oneonta, and a J.D. from Western New England University School of Law. She is a member of the D.C. Bar and serves as the Chair of the Coalition on Human Needs Board of Directors and is a member of the Manna Food Center Advocacy Task Force.
