From 10-week training programs to community-building meet-ups, JBF Programs aspire to give chefs and industry professionals a voice and the tools they need to make real and meaningful change in their businesses and in their communities.

Chef Bootcamp for Policy and Change

The James Beard Foundation’s Chef Bootcamp for Policy and Change provides a unique opportunity for civically and politically minded chefs to become more effective leaders for industry and food-system change through an immersive three-day workshop experience.

Women's Leadership Programs

The James Beard Foundation’s Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program (WEL) provides owners/co-owners of food and beverage businesses with the opportunity to refine and articulate their vision for growth, develop long-term strategies to scale, grow as a leader, and create a network of support through a 10-week virtual training.

Legacy Network

The James Beard Foundation’s Legacy Network program provides a seven-month virtual program enabling selected Advisors and Advisees to participate in a 30-person cohort to expand their network; to consult and receive support from fellow POC industry professionals. LNP provides leadership coaching along with educational training in critical areas such as financial literacy, mental wellness, media content, creation, and strategy.
