With 2025 James Beard Award Best Chef Semifinalist, Richard Lee
Celebrate the recently recognized James Beard Award Semifinalist for Best Chef California, Richard Lee—and his culinary artistry at Saison, the renowned San Francisco restaurant. A San Francisco native, chef Richard’s career trajectory has taken him through the kitchens of Michelin-starred establishments like One Market, Gilt, and Eleven Madison Park, where he contributed to the restaurant being named the No. 1 on the World’s 50 Best list. His experience culminated in his return to the two-star Michelin Saison in 2019, where he now leads the charge as Executive Chef. There, he brings innovative and intentional flavors to life with the influence of Northern California's diverse terroir and its incredible farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and women.

Reservation Policy:
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund. Terms
Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
