Join JBF Greens for a holiday happy hour at Mexican seafood restaurant Mariscos San Pedro located in the heart of Pilsen. 

Open since June 2024, San Pedro is the latest restaurant from the trio of chefs behind Le Bouchon, Obélix, and Taqueria Chingón. Featuring sustainably sourced seafood and house-made masa, San Pedro breathes new life into historic landmark, Thalia Hall, which was established in 1892 as a gathering place for the community.   

For the occasion, chefs (and Chicago natives) Oliver Poilevey, Marcos Ascensio, and Antonio Incandela will serve up a selection of passed bites, specialty wines, and festive cocktails courtesy Mijenta Tequila to ring in the holiday season. 

 

*70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host chef to support their business while 30% will go towards the Foundation’s national programming that is rooted in advocacy, racial equity, sustainability, and women’s leadership for the culinary industry.  

All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event(s) be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, The James Beard Foundation will offer options including ticket exchanges, use of tickets for future events, and option to donate tickets.
