JBF Greens NYC x Fulgurances Laundromat

Join JBF Greens for an exploration of culinary identity at Fulgurances, Laundromat in Greenpoint. 

Fulgurances originally opened in 2015 in Paris as an incubator space for chefs. Similar to an artist-in-residence program, Fulgurances hosts one sous chef for a three-to-six month long residency during which time they hone their craft, temporarily run a kitchen, and create a unique tasting menu all their own. The flagship program, called “Les Seconds Sont Les Premiers” translates to ‘The Sous Chefs Are First’, which encapsulates the ethos of the residency that has existed for nearly 10 years. 

Chef Francisco Pedemonte served as the head chef of the Brooklyn outpost, Fulgurances, Laundromat, for the last 3 years, spending his time behind the scenes, accompanying chefs through their residencies. Having supported more than 15 chefs through their residencies, chef Francisco will now take the spotlight. For one night only, chef Francisco will create a five-course seasonal tasting menu that utilizes New York State produce to showcase his individual culinary identity.

*70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host chef to support their business while 30% will go towards the Foundation’s national programming that is rooted in advocacy, racial equity, sustainability, and women’s leadership for the culinary industry.
