Join JBF Greens for flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean at Dalida in the Presidio.
Open since June 2023, Dalida is run by husband-wife team and James Beard Award semifinalists Laura Ozyilmaz and Sayat Ozyilmaz, the duo behind Istanbul Modern as well. Hailing from Mexico and Turkey respectively, chefs Laura and Sayat met as students at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. They later went on to hone their craft at acclaimed restaurants Eleven Madison Park and Del Posto in New York and Saison and Mourad in San Francisco. Most recently, chef Laura competed on season 21 of Bravo’s Top Chef.
Breaking bread and sharing a meal across the table are the core of Dalida's ethos. For this occasion, chefs Laura and Sayat will create a seasonal, family-style feast that utilizes ingredients sourced from Bay Area farmers and purveyors to honor the traditions and legacy of Istanbul.
