A Legacy Dinner Honoring Il Buco and Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria
For 30 years, Il Buco has been a cornerstone of the downtown dining scene with a rustic Mediterranean-Italian menu that always delivers. Originally opened as an antique store and cafe on Bond Street in 1994, it soon became a hub for fashionable locals and visitors alike, eventually becoming a cherished New York institution. At the heart of Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria is the same dedication to the beautiful simplicity of Italian cuisine, where signature dishes such as the crispy fried artichokes and silky panna cotta have earned a devoted following.
This special collaboration dinner will highlight the legacy of both restaurants, Il Buco and Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria, featuring a menu prepared by executive chef Amelia Kirk and special guest, chef Victoria Blamey (now executive chef at Blanca), an alumna who was instrumental in shaping the restaurant’s identity. From Jodi Williams to Sarah Jenkins, the kitchen has long been a place where women chefs have thrived, and Amelia continues that tradition under the leadership of founder and restaurateur Donna Lennard.

All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund. Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
